Holden Outerwear

Redesign

Project Scope: Rebrand, Hand-Lettering, Collateral, Hangtags, Brand Guidelines

Holden Outerwear is a clothing manufacturing company for skiing and snowboarding. Since Holden Outerwear was purchased in December, 2013 by Pow Inc. in Seattle, Washington, it has gained new resources that will increase brand exposure, and is therefore a perfect candidate for a brand identity redesign.

The Holden brand strives to be a leader in apparel design and functionality. I wanted to highlight this look with a fresh, sophisticated appeal. The logo represents an abstract form of mountains and trees with a hand-lettered logotype. The result was a logo with a sense of empowerment and class.

My roles:

  • Brand Development (Includes the introduction of women’s branding)
  • Brand strategy and guidelines
